Traditional gianduja made with hazelnuts from the Black Sea coast region blended with fresh butter to achieve an even smoother, melt-in-the-mouth texture. As a finishing touch, the praline is coated in a thin sugar glazing.
The Story Behind Astrid
Princess Astrid was a beautiful lady, she passed away while vacationing with the King. Neuhaus created Astrid whereas the crystalized sugar represents the tears of the Belgians for their beloved Queen.
Note: Crystallization of the sugar coating on this candy resulting in a white appearance is normal and does not affect product quality or taste.

Gianduja is a mixture of chocolate and nuts containing between 15-40 percent nuts. Gianduja is of Italian origin, and first made in 1865. The selection of the best nuts and the perfect balance between chocolate and nuts gives our gianduja a deliciously subtle, smooth, and creamy texture.
